What happened when the Provisional Government allowed for the freedom of expression?
Some of the political reforms by the Provision Government were the freedom of assembly, speech, universal suffrage and press. Thousands of political prisoners were also released. This helped the Bolsheviks as there was a rise in the number of political groups attempting to undermine the Provisional Government. Also, there was a strong movement demanding to end the war.
